Confidential project handling for sourcing and manufacturing work.
International sourcing and production projects often involve sensitive commercial and technical information. This page explains the operational principles Tanadol applies when handling project information.
01
Share only what is needed for the agreed purpose.
Project information is used only to evaluate, quote, source, manufacture, coordinate or otherwise perform the agreed work. Access is limited to people or suppliers who need the information for that purpose.
Where a supplier or manufacturing partner must receive part of the information, the scope shared is appropriate to the task and project requirements.
02
What may be treated as confidential project information
- Technical — Drawings, CAD files, specifications, BOMs, prototypes, formulas, materials, dimensions and manufacturing instructions.
- Commercial — Target prices, quotations, margins, forecasts, order quantities, launch dates and negotiation positions.
- Supplier — Supplier identities, factory contacts, sourcing routes, quotations and relationship information where confidential.
- Customer — Customer names, contacts, internal requirements, distribution plans and other non-public business information.
- Brand & IP — Artwork, trademarks, unreleased designs, packaging, brand assets and other intellectual property supplied for the project.

File handling
Project files are stored and transmitted using reasonable business-security practices appropriate to their sensitivity.
Return or deletion
Where contractually required, return or deletion obligations are defined in the applicable agreement or project terms.
